Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant that was days ago captured by Russian troops, was on Thursday disconnected from the country’s national power supply, AFP reported citing the state energy operator Energoatom said. “The actions of the invaders caused a complete disconnection of the (Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant) from the power grid — the first in the history of the plant,” Energoatom said on Telegram.
